BJJ and grappling video analysis app

BJJ and grappling video analysis app.

Video helps when you ask a narrow question about BJJ and grappling. Start with hip angle, weight distribution, grips and transitions. Do not score the whole session from one clip. Compare attempts recorded under similar conditions and carry only one correction into the next block.

Start with one question

Choose an app by the decision it helps you make in your next BJJ and grappling session. Compare how it handles your own footage, whether its log matches the sport, and whether you can carry one useful cue into practice. Check the live App Store listing in your country before you depend on device support, privacy details or subscription terms.

Set the camera before the session

Use a stable phone or compact tripod. a high corner angle that shows both athletes, the mat boundary and major limb positions Keep the athlete, partner or implement inside the frame from the start through the finish. Do not move the camera between clips you plan to compare.

Review the movement in phases

Review the clip in three passes: starting position and grips, weight transfer through the transition, control, escape or finish. On the first pass, watch at normal speed. On the second, pause at the transition. On the third, compare the same checkpoint with a later attempt.

Turn one observation into practice

Choose one visible issue and turn it into a short task: repeat one positional round from the same start with controlled resistance. Keep the load, resistance or partner response appropriate for controlled practice. Ask your coach to confirm the cue before you add speed or intensity. Compare hip angle, weight distribution, grips and transitions before you add a second cue. Keep a short note about the angle, variation, resistance and result so the next clip remains comparable.

Keep the review in scope

Automated feedback cannot diagnose pain, replace a qualified coach, or decide an official result. Submission training carries real risk. Tap early, use a qualified coach and follow your academy or event rules. Stop when pain changes how you move and seek qualified help.
